A little about Me

Hi, I'm Steph.

I’m the person behind Rural Data Services, and I’m so glad you’re here! As the sole owner and operator, I’m passionate about helping livestock producers simplify data entry and analysis, while also supporting them in marketing their businesses.

I was raised on the land and with 20 years of experience in the livestock industry, I’m able to bring peace of mind to your business.

I have worked with family farms in both the cropping and livestock industries through to breed societies and corporate integrated supply chain enterprises. No task or business is too big or too small. My continued hands-on involvement on-farm in livestock production means your solutions will be practical and fuss-free.

I am happy to accommodate your systems where possible and this component can be tailored to your needs. To minimise the platforms that are used, I recommend a Project Management system such as ClickUp or Trello, as you can also remain updated as tasks are completed, although emails and regular phone meetings also work as well.

I take my business and your business seriously. Confidentiality is of upmost importance and is further bound by contractual agreement. All passwords are shared using an encryption service, meaning I don’t ever see your passwords. Any documents created are backed up off-line prior to sending to you and stored for 4 weeks whereby you are required to download and store for your own records. I also have anti-virus software to protect your data online.

Absolutely! There’s no cookie cutter approach and whilst there will be similarities to other businesses, it is fully expected that yours will be unique. The discovery call is a great place to discuss this and to create a custom package to best suit your needs.

Most definitely. Once we begin, if you wish to amend the scope of work, please let me know and I will accommodate where possible. For clients with packages, please allow a two week changeover period to amend your services.
