1. Overview
Rural Data Services provides livestock data support, farm administration, and website services to rural and regional businesses across Australia.
By engaging Rural Data Services, you agree to the following terms.
2. Scope of Services
All services are delivered based on agreed scope, whether as:

A fixed project

A monthly retainer
-
Or a one-off consultation
Any work outside of the agreed scope will be discussed and quoted separately.
3. Client Responsibilities
To keep things moving, clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete information

Supplying required documents, data, and access in a timely manner

Responding to requests for feedback or approvals
Delays in providing required information may impact timelines.
4. Timeframes & Delays
Project timelines are based on timely client input.
If required information or approvals are not provided:

Work may be paused
-
Projects may be rescheduled to the next available timeframe
Rural Data Services is not responsible for delays caused by missing or late client input.
5. Fees & Payment

All pricing is quoted based on agreed scope

Payment terms will be outlined in your proposal or invoice

Work may not commence until required payment is received
For ongoing services:

Retainers secure time within the month
-
Unused time does not roll over
6. Additional Work
If additional work is requested beyond the agreed scope:

It will be quoted or billed separately

Work will not proceed without approval
7. Revisions
Projects include a set number of revisions (as outlined in your proposal).
Additional revisions or changes outside of scope may incur additional fees.
8. Confidentiality
All client data, business information, and records are treated as strictly confidential.
Rural Data Services will not share, disclose, or use client information outside of the agreed scope of work.
9. Data Accuracy & Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy:

Rural Data Services relies on information provided by the client

Final responsibility for decisions and actions remains with the client
Rural Data Services is not liable for:

Errors originating from incorrect or incomplete client data
-
Outcomes resulting from business or management decisions
10. Third-Party Platforms
Clients may use third-party platforms (e.g. NLIS, AgriWebb, Squarespace, etc).
Rural Data Services is not responsible for:

Platform outages or performance issues
-
Changes made by third-party providers
-
Limitations within those systems
11. Website Services
For website projects:

Clients are responsible for supplying content, images, and approvals
-
Rural Data Services provides guidance but does not guarantee specific results (e.g. search rankings, traffic)
12. Communication
Clear and timely communication is essential.
Primary communication methods will be agreed at the start of the project (e.g. email, phone, or online platforms).
13. Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice, with a 2 week notification period for Project or Retainer based packages.
Any work completed up to that point will be invoiced accordingly.
14. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
